I need to get back into art... Since my last serious entry.. some 3.5 years ago... lots have happened. I've painted a ton of portraits, and was back making paper carvings. However juggling a daytime job and freelancing was more difficult than anticipated.
To those few of you who are still here on Deviantart, here's a quick synopsis of what has happened in the last 3.5 years since college graduation:
- Worked in IT for 3 years
- Moved to Florida to work in a pretty stellar industry

It seems like time is accelerating! I MUST GET BACK TO SOME ART.

This is like a reverse time capsule; a sentient being pinging a message out into the stars, to regale long lost souls from eons past... LOL... (I've become more nutty)
I think it's safe to say: It's a hell of a crossroads in my life. I will go into details about this... BUT FIRST! a recap of the dearth that is my life in the last 2.5 years. Hope the very few of you still here like long drawn out stories.
Pretty much a continuation since previous post:
- I had a great rest of sophomore year, got really attached to a penpal. Grades were awesome, deans-list mumbo jumbo, exec board of major student organization, life was marchin onwards.

1/2 year update
So I just got back from Orgo lab and I forgot to put a boiling stone in my flask so my solution went all over the table, and I therefore got some real shitty yields.
Oh I guess i should update you on everything that culminated in that moment.
So this semester I finally declared my major (Chemistry BS at UNC Chapel Hill). As you can see, that has nothing to do with art (besides the fact that my hand currently smells like water color paint because the chemicals i used went through the glove and is probably going to give me cancer).
